Competition
As it expands,
InterGlobe Investigation Services
Inc. will encounter three primary
large North American security firms (Pinkerton Consulting
Services and Burns International, both owned by Stockholm-based
Securitas, and Wackenhut). In addition there will be numerous
smaller investigations firms, though none of these will possess
the broad range of services, experience, and reach that
InterGlobe
soon will.
While Pinkerton, Burns, and Wackenhut are leaders in the
field, InterGlobe of Homelands Security Inc. is still
positioned to provide the personalized service required
for work of a sensitive nature. This will be the major emphasis
as the company continues to move forward and expands its
operations.
As well, none of these firms possess the “holistic” approach
and abilities used by InterGlobe and are not sufficiently
“full-service” to include special services such as forensic computing
investigations and Canine (K-9) protection and detection services.
Strategic Advantages
InterGlobe Investigation Services Inc. enjoys a number of strategic advantages over
its associates/competitors, including the following:
Owns All Equipment
Unlike many competitors, InterGlobe Investigation
Services Inc. owns all of its
equipment. This includes surveillance equipment, electronic
countermeasure devices, and polygraphs. Owning its own equipment
provides InterGlobe and
its clients with time and revenue efficiencies. If, for
example, a piece of equipment is needed in another jurisdiction,
InterGlobe can send it by overnight courier, rather
than having to locate a local supplier.
Well-Established Business
InterGlobe Investigation Services Inc. has been in existence for over 10 years, and has
serviced thousands of clients, with ongoing contracts
and repeat business. The company’s client base includes
such firms as:
- National and international companies
- Mining and international resource-based companies
- Commercial corporate firms
- Equipment leasing companies
- Governments
- Associations
- Private clients
Reputation
With the extensive media coverage of its president, Philip
Moriarity, InterGlobe Investigation Services Inc.
has built a solid reputation
in Vancouver and British Columbia. InterGlobe is
known as an approachable, available investigation firm whose
focus is on seeing its clients get results.
Excellent Customer Service
InterGlobe Investigation Services Inc. has a strong customer
service ethic. This is evident through its repeat business and
how it obtains new business. Most new business is acquired through
referrals and word-of-mouth, clearly indicating a high level of
customer satisfaction.
Unlike many competitors, InterGlobe Investigation
Services Inc. provides a 24-hour
on-call service, where an investigator is available at all
times to assist clients and prospects. This is a unique
benefit which puts a ‘face’ to the company. Small investigation
firms do not typically have the resources for such a service,
and large investigation firms often provide a monolithic
front to a prospective customer. The 24-hour on-call service
is yet another example of InterGlobe’s customer focus
and availability.
Police Background
InterGlobe Investigation Services Inc. has investigators with background in policing.
This enables them to understand how the police system works,
and how they can best work with the police system to get
their clients’ needs met.
Competitive Rates
InterGlobe Investigation Services Inc.’s rates are competitive
with those in the local Vancouver and British Columbia market,
while allowing the company to generate healthy revenues. The rates
are sufficiently reasonable for individuals to pursue investigation
services through InterGlobe.
