Philip Moriarity – President
Philip Moriarity was a police officer for 15 years prior to founding
InterGlobe. He worked among other duties as a police K-9
officer, special task force investigator and as an intelligence
specialist with the Vancouver Integrated Intelligence Unit in
charge of the international organized crime portfolio. During
this time, he was involved in handling security for the Clinton/Yeltsin
Presidential Summit in Vancouver, and the Commonwealth Heads of
State Conference also held in Vancouver. He was instrumental in
the convictions of manslaughter, second and first-degree murder
cases during that time. He received numerous commendations for
his work in those difficult investigations.
With a particular interest in domestic and criminal harassment
cases, Philip started holding seminars on criminal harassment
in order to better inform the public. He founded InterGlobe
thereafter in order to provide services that the police were unable
to do. This led to a number of requests from clients and Police
agencies as well as the Attorney Generals Ministry for advise
and consultation. He was consulted by the RCMP as they undertook
a review of their policies after the inquest into one Canada’s
largest murder suicide cases. Currently, he advises corporations
and individuals on security matters.
Philip has become the preeminent Canadian authority on criminal
harassment, having appeared on many media programs and serving
as consultant to several acclaimed TV documentaries on the
subject. Philip’s reputation has helped to grow InterGlobe’s
business and provide it with the solid standing it enjoys
today.
Philip is a charter member of the Vancouver Board of Trade’s
“Crime Task Force” and other crime-related and prevention
groups.
